(AP) SACRAMENTO,CA The Department of Motor Vehicles announced today
a rebate will be issued to carpoolers throughout California. Each
carpooling commuter will recieve $.23 in the coming mail. The funds
from this will come from raising gasoline prices $.55 per gallon
for a period of seven years. "We feel it's about time to award
those six people that have carpooled in California." said a DMV
spokesman. "It's also time to get tough with single drivers using
the HOV lanes. We will be positioning snipers at various points on
the CA freeways who will take out drivers in the carpool lanes
driving alone. Those that would oppose this plan probably didn't
like my idea of using shoulder-mounted attack missiles on lowered
vehicles playing loud rap music but SCREW THEM!" Before being
hauled away, he went on to say aliens were dancing in his pants and
Morkork is the One True God.
