Any uBid dealings?

I was wondering if anyone has had any dealing with uBid.com (both bad
and good). The reason is that they advertised a product as new. My bid

was accepted and confirmed. When I got the product the packaging was
clearly labeled as reburished. When I called their customer support the

most they were willing to do was to accept the return of the unit for a
refund or offer a $25 coupon at their store. I don't know about anyone
else, but I wouldn't buy anything at a store that had just deceived me.
When I asked to speak with a manager, he upped the coupon to $50 but was

unwilling to send a new unit as was advertised or cover the price
difference between what I paid and what a new unit would go for (turns
out to be approx $25). The manager went on to state that it was their
mistake and that they don't review all of the product descriptions. So
something listed as new might very well be refurbished. Unfortunately I
didn't look at resellerratings.com before ordering otherwise I wouldn't
have placed a bid.

thanks in advance.....
Eric
