YES! I can tell you *EXACTLY* the restaurant to go to. PLEASE go,
I *PROMISE* you that you, and ANYone you might happen to bring, will
like it.

It sounds quite bizarre, so please don't judge it until you actually go.

It's called the "Inn of the 7th Ray". It's in Topanga Canyon, near Malibu.
It may be a bit of a drive from where-ever you are going....I PROMISE it's
worth it. <I honestly can't enthuse enough about this place>.

Call directory-assistance for Topanga Canyon, and call the restaurant
for exact directions, as both times I've been a) we drove from Orange
County, and b) I couldn't even tell you how we got there from Orange! :-D

The Inn is nestled on the side of the 'mountain' which walls Topanga Canyon.
It's just off Topanga Canyon Rd. (I think that is what it's called). It's
nestled in the trees. The majority of the dining is outdoors...and it is
*very* elegant and lovely. There is a terraced flagstone patio, an outdoor
fountain, etc. There is classical
music piped within and out. The tables are all white wrought iron with
lavender tableclothes and matching chairs and cushions. Candles on the
table. A babbling stream runs past the patio. It is SO beautiful.

And the food is *exquisite*. They consider themselves a spiritually
correct, new-age type place (which is why I said it sounds bizarre), but
DON'T let that throw you. Go! The food is So fresh, and SO well prepared.
I consider myself something of an amateur swordfish afficianado, and I had
the BEST swordfish I have EVER had there. It was incredible.

So, in short... GO!!!!!

:-D :-D :-D
