Will $39 Pacific Bell DSL work for Linux?

Pacific Bell has a promotion for DSL and wants $39 including all the
equipment under the condition of 1 year contract.

As I talked to the PacBell customer support, PacBell DSL does not support
Linux or any other UNIX. Is there anyone out there using the cheap DSL for
unix connection? I am not sure about the term "not support". NOT SUPPORT
does not have to mean the DSL will not work for UNIX at all.

Please reply to dukeobee@yahoo.com.

Thank you,
J

Linux works fine on DSL. it's a bitch to configure though.
