Kareem Remar Jefferson is the Silent Observer Fugitive of the Month for
February 2006. He is wanted for Absconding from Parole in June 2004. He was
serving parole as part of his prison sentence for a robbery conviction.

For more details, including descriptions and photos of Jefferson and past
featured fugitives who have yet to be captured, please see the Silent
Observer Fugitive of the Month web site at http://www.battlecreek.org/so/

Silent Observer offers citizens the opportunity to provide police with vital
information - yet remain anonymous. Silent Observers can receive rewards of
up to $5,000 for providing information leading to the arrest of individuals,
who are later bound over for trial.

The Fugitive of the Month Program features a monthly "Wanted Fugitive" whose
capture requires public assistance. The maximum reward level is $1,000
dollars. To date, this program has featured 95 fugitives and 89 have been
captured.
