WILL JOHNNIE COCHRAN RUN FOR LT. GOVERNOR ?
(A REBOUND)
By Hal Womack 3 dan
Last week I started a quite similar thread asking if Mr.Cochran
would run for the Senate. Technical reasons have since surfaced to suggest
a negative answer to the question as first put, namely his presumed voter
registration as a Democrat. California election rules make it easier for an
intending candidate to switch mates than party affiliation, requiring a
minimum of a one-year delay for the latter kind of change of partners. So
if Mr.Cochran runs for office this year, he must do so as a Democrat. That
means that were he to aim for the Senate, he would have to challenge
Barbara Boxer in the June primary, an option which for present purposes we
can dismiss out of hand.
By turning our attention to the office of Lt.Governor, however,
necessity may in this case gently lead us to virtuous invention. In this
lesser race, should he choose to enter it, Mr.Cochran will face far less
formidable opponents; in fact, he would doubtless be the best known name in
the field. This variation promises an exciting cross-party salt & pepper
partnership in the public interest between Mr.Peron, running for governor
as a Republican and Mr.Cochran, running as a Democrat for Lt.Governor.
Dennis today would already carry Northern California, a fact about which
the licensed propaganda poodles of the kept press so far remain studiously
silent, and Johnnie has the manifest potential to wake and shake up the
South. Will the famous lawyer decide to put some real punch in the herbal
healer's slogan for "Racial unity in California" ?
Considering the State's economy on the global scene, it would
rank 6th or 7th among the nations of the world and our population of
some 35,000,000 souls nearly doubles those of such countries as Australia,
Canada and Iraq, let alone Cuba's ten million.
Can the reader envision, for example, our hypothetical pair making
a pre-primary international tour to take quick lessons from Fidel Castro on
public health care, particularly WRT AIDS prevention, and from Nelson
Mandela on principles of democratic statesmanship under difficult
conditions of transition ? And further that our guys would declare
themselves as the first full-fledged politicians of the Internet in
opposition to the obsolete system of disinformation which is still trying
to pass itself off as the "news media", so that the rainbow Republocrats'
new Web sites would cover live their meetings with foreign leaders ?
Besides the two already mentioned, I would add visits to Hector Silva, the
revolutionary mayor of San Salvador so that our Californians could pick up
some detailed accounts of recent US Government practices in sponsoring
repression & murder squads against patriotic opponents and to Rigoberta
Menchu, the young Mayan Nobel Peace Laureate in Guatemala for more of the
same. Then the duo could stop over in Mexico to investigate for themselves
the critical situation in Chiapas; to meet in Mexico City with Cuauhtemoc
Cardenas, the reform mayor of the world's largest city, and to pay a
courtesy visit to President Ernesto Zedillo to review issues of border
management.
Six of Peron's eight interim slogans [attached below] touch
directly on matters of justice and law, the subject also of Cochran's 1996
book JOURNEY TO JUSTICE. She who dares to use the eyes that God gave her
can see IMHO that the greatest current crime on Earth = the Clinton's
Administation's remorselessly prolonged blockade of Iraq, which United
Nations' public health experts on site have estimated as causing since 1990
the deaths of some 750,000 children under the age of five years.
"Help them to strive, help them to move on, help them to have some future,
help them to live long..." Sade, LOVE DELUXE 1992.
Whereas the collapsing Establishment's new candidate for governor,
Gray Davis, proposes to solve our social problems by instituting in public
schools random testing for contraband drugs and drapes himself with the
brain-damaged cliche of "tough love".
Only an imbecile could delude himself that we Californians can
allow our national officials to commit mass murder abroad and still hope at
home to enjoy the rule of law. Does any serious analyst doubt that one of
the wannabe justificatory whispers behind the Beltway runs something like:
"If the U.N. were to lift the blockade, then Israel would simply nuke Iraq,
so we're killing the Arabs slowly for their own good" ? In order to achieve
world justice we are going to have to begin by bringing to account the
greatest evil-doers in the Ivy League and to honor the Nuremburg Doctrine's
epochal prohibition of aggressive war by restoring to its rightful owners
the land of Palestine and by duly punishing the transgressors therein.
These issues being both delicate & urgent, I conceive that our champions
might wish to profit from the advice thereon on of their hosts in the tour
sketched above.
Dennis's combat experience in Viet Nam and Johnnie's defense
contacts with the Nation of Islam & independent experts in forensic
pathology also now appear as highly appropriate preparation for seeking
public office in California outside the pale of the old plutocracy and
their secret police.
My cafe's about to close for the night. Can the reader see a
billboard in San Diego asking the questions of the sailors and the marines,
"Tired of pissing in a bottle on creep-command? Will you vote for Peron for
Governor, Republican; Cochran for Lt.Governor, Democratic ?"
The filing deadline which Mr.Cochran must observe if he is to
preserve his options and ours in this election = 4 February. His office
address = 4929 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 1010; Los Angeles CA 90010.
If enough people who care encourage him in time, he might ask
his dad about this decision, too. Then we will elect Dennis Governor and
he'll have good hands in which to leave the State when we elect him
President in 2000. Hello Mister, do you have Prince Albert in a can ?
FREE ELECTIONS FOREVER !
DOWN WITH THE SECRET POLICE!

Dan Lundgren is a J. Edgar Hoover wannabe.
He likes nothing more than the thought of 10 police per citizen,
controlling every possible elements of their lives.
A vote for Lundgren is a vote for the kind of state where the cops
come in, guns drawn and bust up legal, voter-approved businesses
like the Cannabis buyers clubs to show the citizens who the real boss
is.
