Should be {puq QIp}.  Remember, spelling counts, and {q} is a completely
different letter of the  sourced.

I just tried this myself and sure enough ~/.exrc is not sourced if EXINIT is
set.  However, if 'exrc' is set in EXINIT, then .exrc in the current
directory will be sourced, which is the same as ~/.exrc in the home
directory.

For anyone using vim, by the way, here is a nifty macro for commenting out a
line, or uncommenting it, as appropriate (uuencoded):


Put this in your .exrc or .vimrc and then just hit '-' to comment out a
line, or if it's already commented out, to uncomment it.
