Depends on the bottler. We have five gallon bottles of purified water
delivered to work.

Sometimes added on purpose. Anyone else remember Calso Water? Calso
was a mixer once bottled in Menlo Park. Best I could tell it was Hetch
Hetchy water with interesting salts added.

I was interested to recently learn that Vittel once bought and then
abandoned the Bartlett Springs source/resort in Lake County in the
eighties.

My favorite bottled water was Cobb Mountain Spring Water
<http://www.bottledwaterweb.com/bott/bt_080cobbm.html>. Apparently they
couldn't survive after attempting to sue Nestle (current owners of
Calistoga Water) over dubious source claims.
