if "Aux USA" was a sarcastic comment, I'll have to give my opinion. I'm
about to form a web design company with 2 friends and I have been
researching the hosting offers in canada and the states. what we have in
montreal basically sucks. take cam for example. 50$ per month for 4 megs
and 100 megs of transfer, no additional services?
for 25USD per month, in the states, you get unlimited transfers (not
some shitty 100 megs), 5 emails, 300megs of space (not some shitty 4
megs), plus you get SSL support, database already installed, etc.
The closest I got to that in montreal so far is Colba.net which offers 1
gig of transfer, 10 megs of space and 5 emails for 20 canadian per
month.
So I'm afraid I could never advise any client to get a domain in
Montreal.
