Hi I am desperatly trying to find out how to get-rid of, change or even
create my own "company logo", on the 'System Properties' window.

Just for clarification, that is the grey box you get when you right click
'My Computer' and hit 'Properties'.

I have a DELL machine and I get  a DELL logo. I want to change this to
something more intersting, I know that this is a trivial matter but I would
still like to know how it is done.

As I recall, there was an article (tip) in PC WORLD Magazine _about_ 5
months ago which explained what to do.....could likely find it on their
website if you check :
