  To all my loyal subjects of the United Kingdom, the British
Commonwealth, all Canadians, and, to our friends and allies
all over the world, we bring you greetings and peace from all
at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace.

  In an effort to make the Royal Family a trifle more accessible,
my public relations staff has suggested that we join the phenomena
of the nineties known as the Internet for a trial period of time via
the Usenet Newsgroups.  In an age where security and costs are an ever
increasing problem as far as personal appearances are concerned, I
agreed to allow our staff to set up an interactive format in which the
public from all over the globe could have some semi personal
interaction with us in a way that would otherwise be impossible.

  Although it is impossible for me to answer all mail personally, I
will however read all the posts and instruct my secretaries to respond
expediently to all mail.

  You may ask any questions that you may have and can also leave
comments.  I trust that tactfulness and sensitivity will be the order
of the day.  Unfortunately, we can not for security reasons and a
