HosBev'96 amended Call for Papers, new program topics added.

HosBev'96, 15th National Marketing Forecast Conference on wine, liquor, 
drinks,cider, waters, restaurants, hotel and resorts, Hospitality 
Beverages - Washington, D.C September 20 has a few program openings for 
presentations and exhibits on the commercial side of marketing the 
subject areas in the U.S. (and we could make openings for more academic 
presentations if they are unique and important in the scheme of 
forecasting the near future of beverage and hospitality business in the 
U.S.). 

Added program items:

- A role for Canadian and Mexican foods, beverages, styles in the U.S. 
market.

- Wines from fruits other than grapes -- apple "wines" (not cider which 
was already on the agenda).

- Probable coming trends (or perhaps short-time profitable fads) in 
beverages and in restaurant styles.

- Presentation and workshop on early determination of whether a 
phenomenon is a trend or just a fad, and if a fad, whether and how to 
capitalize on it. There will be several past trends and fads to 
demonstrate the analytic methodology, and several here-and-now phenomena 
(such as burritos, merlot) and likely prospects (such as selected "apple 
wines"), etc.
