Ummm... you seem to have a problem with the way can.* newsgroups get created. Why raise a stink if you have no desire to create a can.* newsgroup then? > It is obvious that a certain atmosphere exists in this hierarcy, that > is to some degree in conflict with the expectations of the thousands > of new users of the Internet, and usenet in particular. Let's get this line of reasoning straight: One this is clear, I "might" be part of the problem? It's so clear that it's only a possibility? What is the problem exactly? You want to create a newsgroup, go ahead. No one is stopping you. You want other people to eat up expensive hardware to propegate your newsgroup, convince them that it's worth their time. I fail to see the problem or the politics in that. -- KAMAMER@IO.ORG................................................. ..Karl.Mamer,.President,.SOMWWTWTN..|."I.dunno..Some.of.it's .. ....Society.Of.Men.Who.Watch.The....|..pretty.interesting.".... .....Women's.Television.Network.....|...........--.Group.Moto.. .................................................KAMAMER@IO.ORG
