purpose of sharing legal information with our clients and the general =
public in a practical, dynamic and user-friendly manner.

Our main section, "What's up?", is updated every Monday and contains a =
brief summary of our selection of recent judgments or of legal =
principles relating to the business world and that we deem important for =
those of you who reside in Quebec or have interests here, and who wish =
to have a better understanding of the workings of our legal system. Our =
weekly summaries will allow you to learn more about you rights and =
obligations in different settings, as well as about civil procedure and =
the rules of evidence, which we will try to demystify! =20



For example, our articles to date have discussed cases concerning the =
dismissal in bad faith of an employee, the personal liability of a =
company director who tendered on a project, the refusal by the owner of =
a building to consent to the transfer of a commercial lease, a non =
competition clause between ex-partners and the acquittal or wining of a =
court case by someone on an alleged technicality. These articles may be =
found on our site.
