I have a friend who is emigrating to Canada in about a month. He has a
property (3 hours west of Calgary) half of which he demolished some
months ago and is hoping to rebuild before winter! Yes, I know, but
don't underestimate this guy!

Could anyone give advise of useful websites and/or newsgroups
dedicated to timber frame construction? The number of Canadian
newsgroups to which I have access through my isp is very limited so my
apologies if this is an inappropriate posting.
