Actually, Japan follows an elitist system of education much like some
european countries.

In Japan, you have to write a number of exams. If your scores are too low
then you cannot enter university and consequently dishonour your family.
Consequently, professional, executive or scientific-type jobs are out of
reach. The only option is to work a blue-collar job or move to another
country which is not elitist as regards university entrance.

As regards your comment that Japan is not a socialist country has no bearing
on the distribution of scholarships. In the US for example, all the ivy
league universities offer scholarships to the best and the brightest. These
scholarships are not government funded but are set up by alumni or
corporations. I should know, my sister received a full scholarship to one of
the best universities in the US. Given that I was the dumb one in the family
I had to settle for a lessor university

Anyhoo.....you are avoiding my request. Can we see your transcripts so that
we can have proof of your outstanding GPA? Just say yes or no. If you say
no, I will take this as a confession that you lied.
