Canadian Jew News in a headline story in
their issue of 2 December 1999, report that
the PRESS Foundation, which raised millions
of dollars for ZHID settlements in occupied
Palestine, is yet another Zhid group that has
lost its status as a charity with Revenue Canada>

The so-called Foundation has as its address in
Toronto, an address on Prince Charles Drive,
that of a Rabbi Shalom Jundef.

Because Canada since 1967 has regarded the 
West Bank, The Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights,
and east Jerusalem as territory illegally
occupied by Israel, ZHID settlements
beyond the so-called Green Line are
deemed illegal.

Further, Revenue Canada claimed the 
so-called Foundation had  a lack of 
proper controls over the millions
raised in Canada, with insufficient
state of its books and records. The
Canadian Government had had serious
concerns since 1991.

In 1996 the Toronto Zionist Council had
its charitable status revoked, also for
illegal funding of ZHID settlements in
occupied Palestine.
