I believe that our system for appling and being approved for CPP
Disability needs a complete overhaul. You never know when this
insurance, maybe what stands in your way of bankruptcy or security and
peace of mind.

Yes, I was like you once. I didn't think I would ever need disability
insurance, but here I am now, recieving CPP disability benefits. It
wasn't what I expected, either.

When you first apply, you think it's going to be OK you won't be rich
but you will beable to put food on the table. HaHa!!

The government of Canada only cares about one think, money, and not
you. You see money is the root to all evil. The government knows
whom ever has it, gets the votes. So they setup road blocks and a
maze of lies, deceit and delays just to drive anyone, who might be
sick, in sane.

CPP Disability is not required to pay any interest, on money owed.
This means, forget getting it quick. It doesn't matter if you are on
your death bed or not. Beleive me, on this, I know. I've heard of a
woman with cancer and she applied, she was first denied and then it
went to appeals, she died and she still had not received approval.
Guess they figured that, she was now able to work for God and was not
in enough pain.

CPP disability also has a good reputation for lying. I know this is
true because they lied to me. I have it documented and have even
provided that info to, the not so God-like PM of Canada, Jean Chreitan
(I don't know how to spell his name and I don't want to know). He is
as useless as #$%#%$# on a bull (You can fill in the blanks, if you
like)

Canada Pension owes me over 4700.00 dollars what do you think they
will do? Pay it? I don't think so. How am I to collect? I don't
know. I can't walk or drive, so you tell me. CPP gives me roughly
900.00 a month and I have 3 kids to support. Whoppi! I can't even
pay the deposit for a lawyer. I guess they win, again.

When you are so sick, that you can't work (yes, we are talking office
jobs too) how are you suppose to fight the system, to get your
pension. Wouldn't you say that seems to be a tactic on their part to
discourage you from collecting and now you are the province's
responsiblity or your spouses. I had to pay my Canada Pension Plan
premiums, every year at tax time, I had no choice. When I needed it,
it was not there. Yes, I am angry and disappointed with this
government and I am not going to take it any more. Are you?

I am letting the present Government know, they are on notice. I will
be calling the news stations and anyone else for that matter. I will
tell my story and I will change the rules.

Join me in changing our government policies. Talk, Type and Tell.
