Let's see, where do I start ............ Firstly, This kind language is not going to get you very far. My dad told me many many years ago that you can tell somebody to go F.... himself and I'll say thank you. It all depends how you say it....It's called diplomacy. Given what is written below, I would be supprised if you get an answer from whom the letter was addressed to. You may get an answer from the side kicks (assistants) but that's about it. Secondly, you should concentrate your research (you say you did some) on this side of the border. If you were to do so you would find that here in Canada, there is a thing called the charter of right. Its says that (I am paraphasing here) that every HUMAN BEING in this country (canadian or not) have some rights, PERIOD. I like you I am not happy about the fact that boat poeple are landing on our shores (its expensive for us). But I pride myself in thinking that I live in a country that where the canadian constitution guaranties the poeple that escape procecution, famine, deseases, etc, etc the basic needs and rights. Like it or that's the way it is. Quite frankly, if you are not happy with the system here, you can always move to an other country. Thirdly, as far as I am concerned, it's poeple like you that are part of the problem. You have to much time on your hand. Form what you have written, you seem to have spent a great deal of time and energy on the subjet. May be would should spend the same amount of energy to find a job instead of blaming everybody under the sun for your problems. Believe me, I know about not working and what looking for a job is all about. 18 months ago The company I had been working with for 21 years went tits up. So I went back to school to get retrained in computer programming. So until I find a full time job, I write stuff for poeple in exchange for a set fee. But unlike you, I get NO MONEY from the goverment. Fourth, You keep saying YOU THE GOVERMENT. I ate to say this to you, but the goverment is US as in you and me. You don't like the way it operates..... then once every 4 year you cast your vote. That is called democracy. Regards JL Brew wrote in message ... >I seriously question weather or not Prime Minister Chretien will ever see >this note, but just in case, here goes, Mr. Prime Minister... I have a >couple of questions that I think as a Canadian citizen I am entitled to >have answered. 1) Are the rumours true that you have no backbone when it >comes to anybody and everybody coming into this country..for >example..when the East Indians first landed on our shores in Nova Scotia >a couple of years back, When officals took away their little knives, they >went on a hunger strike...you (the government) gave in and gave them >back. Next they bitched about wearing their turbins as an offical part of >the R.C.M.P. Dress uniform..and again you (the government) caved in and >gave it to them, then there's the little matter of them wearing their >turbins instead of motorcycle helmets when riding their bikes..and once >more you (the government) caved in...what's next ? >2) Yes it's true that I am on social services..aka welfare, why ? hmmm >let's see, you (the government) have some idiots running around every >summer nailing signs up all over this piss-ass country saying, "Hire a >Student" I say to hell with the damn students, you have people out there >with families to support, don't you think it's about god damn time you >(the government) started thinking about them ?, plus you (the government) >have some boobs standing on every shore in Canada waving in every boat >that passes our ports, and giving them everything they desire while >saying to hell with the Canadians. I did some research and I found that >in the United States, in the New York harbour is a statue, known through >out the world as The Statue of Liberty and on this statue are some words >that go like this : >"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe >free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the >homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden >door."...I want to know whats Canadas saying to this "Give us the rest" ? >Have you never heard of this saying..."Sorry No Vacancy" ? Personally I >think it's about time you (the government) started working FOR the people >that put you there, instead of AGAINST them, wouldn't you (the >government) agree ? >It seems to me that ANYONE can come into our country and use the excuses >of their religion to change the laws of Canada to favor them...and as >always, you (the government) cave in and give them what they demand, and >again the Canadian citzens suffer for it. > > > >As I said at the beginning of this note, I have my doubts that the Prime >Minister himself will ever read this, nor even know it was ever written, >so I plan to make copies of this note, and send it to every major >newspaper across Canada, in the hopes that it will be published so that >the Prime Minister could see it, and answer my questions, himself. > Thank you for your time: Please post your opinions about the above >letter that I sent to the P.M. as well as the Premier of B.C. Ont. >as well as several MLA's and newspapers...honest opinions only PLEASE
