*** DID YOU UNDERGO A CHILDHOOD CIRCUMCISION? ***
        -- between the ages of 3 and 17 --

If so, would you be willing to complete a short (thirty-four
question) e-mail survey form?

Your input will provide valuable data regarding circumcision
from the unique perspective of one who experienced it during
childhood. **(See note, below, if you do not fall into the age
group for this study.)

This is an emotionally charged subject where objective data
often seems to be lacking. This survey is an attempt to gather
data from which valid conclusions can be drawn about attitudes
toward circumcision on the part of those who were circumcised at
an age of awareness. Of particular interest are the ways in
which certain aspects and circumstances related to the procedure
(age, status of childhood friends, whether there was a choice in
the matter, satisfaction with the outcome, etc.) may correlate
with one's attitude toward circumcision.

Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

There are two ways to obtain the survey form and respond to the
survey.
1.) You may respond directly to: SurveyCrc@aol.com
2.) You may respond anonymously to: an557470@anon.penet.fi
Note: TheSurvey@GNN.com address is no longer in effect.

When responding directly to SurveyCrc@aol.com, all headers and
other identifying information are deleted before the data is
saved to a database. Once the data has been entered, all
correspondence is deleted. This assures confidentiality from
that point on. Your e-mail address is retained only when you
have specifically requested to be added to the distribution list
for survey results.

If you are at all uncomfortable that your messages include
identifying information, you can use the an557470@anon.penet.fi
address. In this case, all identifying information is removed
before your response is forwarded to the survey address. If you
do not yet have one, you will also automatically receive an
anonymous address for your own use in sending and receiving
future e-mail messages anonymously. (Note: this procedure takes
longer, so be patient.)

** Note: those who were circumcised as infants or adults are
specifically excluded from this survey for the reasons that, in
the first case, there is no knowledge on the part of the
individuals involved which could provide data for this study,
and, in the second case, for the reason that it can be assumed
that those who were circumcised as adults chose to do so and
would therefore skew the results. If you do not fall into the
age group for this study but have something you would like to
say, please feel free to send your comments to either of the two
e-mail addresses.
