Career Objective:

                 To learn and pursue the expanding field of Graphic Design,
                 using my creative skills.


Education:

December 1992    Kwantlen College, Richmond, British Columbia

                 Received diploma in Graphic and Visual Design.  Completed
                 four full-time semesters while maintaining two part-time
                 jobs.  The following courses provided skills in:

Audio-Visual Production   -learned the production and coordination of slides
                           and music.
Commercial Illustration  -mastered speed and efficiency in various styles of
                          illustration.
Business Procedures   -acquired skills in the activities and responsibilities
                       of business relating to graphic design.
Computer Graphics  -proficient at Aldus Pagemaker 5.0 and MacroMedia
                    Freehand 5.0.
Graphic Design    -studied the history, ideas, theories, and
                   production of design.
Production Art  -mastered darkroom techniques, stripping, and forming of
                 multilayered P.M.T. designs.
Photography   -studied and implemented darkroom procedures, film development
               and photo exposure.
Typography -trained in the characteristics, importance, and solutions of
            typesetting.


Employment History:

August 1997-     English teacher, Seoul Min Jok Academy, Republic of Korea.
August 1996      Taught English at beginner and advanced levels to all age
                 groups.  Developed artwork for children's workbooks, and
                 adult worksheets.

July 1996-       Self employed Graphic Designer.
December 1992    Provided a wide array of graphic design, illustration,
                 and fine art services to a variety of clients.

June 1996-       Goodmark Apparel Ltd., Burnaby, British Columbia.
June 1995        Full-time concept artist. Sketched and designed several
                 Walt Disney season fashion releases.  Created original art for
                 Mickey Mouse & Co., Sesame Street, Barbie, and Bad Boy
                 sportswear.

Achievements:

                 Received scholarship from the British Columbia and Yukon
                 Newspaper Association (best student award).

                 Provided art for charitable auctions for the past four years.

                 Created art for a charitable calendar

                 Developed numerous forms of T-shirt artwork for the N.R.G.
                 Garment Company.

                 Commissioned specifically for native art.

                 Self-employed for five years.
