Hello:
I am a student in Alberta Vocational College (AVC), Calgary,
Alberta.
AVC is a government subsidized educational institution.
I have just being expelled (or forced to withdrawn according to the term
used by student handbook) from my English class.
Previously, my English teacher and I already have minor friction
on the
grading of some of my English paper. Few days ago, I was caught doing
my other subject's work during his lecture. He asked me to leave right
away with out previous warning. I told him that I would stay in the
class and pay attention, but he insisted to thrown me out. I told him
that i have the right to stay since i have paid for the course. Next
day I was notified by my English Senior that I could no longer attend my
English class.
I like to find out what is position standing on this case. Can
I get
my class back???
P.S. Alberta Vocational College is a government subsidized academic
institution, the school policy is very stiff; however, I am not the only
student who does the other subject in the class, besides this is my
first offence.
