I am writing a program to calculate the distance between two lat. and
long. points.

The only thing I am missing is how to calculate arc cosine.

I know the arc cosine of 0.998248285 = 0.059198418. but what is the
formula for calculating this?

Any help you can supply would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Jim
