i am a math idiot... my daughter needs much more than her _really lame_ 'math teacher' has to offer. can you suggest texts, CDs, or videotapes that can help her understand and learn algebra, geometry, trig and calculus, from the ground up to wherever? She's 15 and needs help. once upon a time there was a PhD named Irving Adler who authored some truly excellent workbooks covering basic arithmetic. They were different because he understood and could explain... but I haven't been able to find anything comparable for more advanced levels. All help and advice much appreciated
