I am looking for help on an experiment being done on diffraction
using slitfilm.  I am not able to get the results that I expect
so I would like to get more information.

If anyone has access to the journal American Journal of Physics, 25,
March 1957 p. 135-138 there is an article by Chapman and Meese.
I have not beeen able to ge this issue for obvious reasons of age.
If anyone has this issue would you please fax me the article.
