...........................................................................
The Special Needs Education Network was established in October 1995, as a new
service provided under the auspices of the SchoolNet project, a cooperative
initiative of Canada's provincial, territorial, and federal governments, in
consultation with educators, universities, colleges and industry.
SNE (es-en-ee) services have been designed for parents, teachers, and
organizations that are interested in special needs education, but SNE
information and resources will be of interest to a wide variety of
SchoolNet users.
The Special Needs Education Network develops and maintains comprehensive
information resources and communication networks to facilitate collaborative
efforts in special needs education. This includes Mailing Lists, Gopher,
World Wide Web, and Special Projects.
Members of the SNE mailing lists recently reviewed the new Web site and
completed a user survey to establish current needs and future directions.
You are invited to become part of this important process, as the SNE works
to progress as an efficient, relevant, and user-friendly educational
networking resource.
Please take the time to visit this new and innovative service.
It can be accessed directly at:

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the SNE!
