I'm doing a project and I need to design a model to simulate the effect hte selling price of an item has on the overall profit a company makes. I'm doing it in a spreadsheet and the columns are as follows: Col. A = Cost Price(Per Item) ; Col. B = No. Bought ; Col. C = No. Sold ; Col. D = Selling Price ; Col. E = Overall Profit. Therefore I need two formulae, the first to work out the no. sold, when the figures in columns A, B and D vary (increasing in set increments) and the second to work out the overall profit. Can someone please work out a formula and email it to me (do not post, please) at mark@mewi.demon.co.uk as soon as possible. Express the formula in terms of A,B,C,D and E (as in the columns- e.g. - B*2 would equal No. Bought multiplied by two). Thanks.
