I apologize if this message isn't placed correctly. I am
putting it in every newsgroup that I read.
I need a small favor, please.
I'll make this long, horribly painful story short. After
years of waiting, dear friends of mine are the parents of a
beautiful baby girl, Meredith. She is 5 months old,
starting to try to make words and sit up. She is precious
and they were so delighted.
10 days ago, she began having seizures. They learned that
she had a large brain tumor. The 9 hour operation got most
of it. Meredith got to go home last night.
Now they've learned it is malignant and *not just cancer*
but the fastest growing type. They're going to start the
chemotherapy and radiation soon. The doctor said that
without a miracle, she will grow sicker and die within a few
months.
They just moved to a new state, are basically alone and
scared. They will do anything to save her life. Imagine
how you would feel if it were your baby.
Would you be so kind as to send them a card? Do you know of
special alternative medicines or ways to fight cancer or get
through the harsh treatment? Any little note of support,
good wishes or even just a drawing, a poem or leaf, etc. or
especially a prayer would mean the world of encouragement to
them now. Please let them know that they are NOT alone.
Please send mail to:
"Meredith"

Thank you, friends for doing this good deed, telling others
and saying a prayer for her recovery.
Rebecca
