Is there anybody visiting this site?

I'm a technology education assistant at Bishop Smith High
School in Pembroke. I do a lot of hobby robotics myself
(check out my site if you care, some stuff posted for D&T
programs, help yourself - http://ianjuby.cjb.net )
and have a lot of students interested in robotics and was
wondering if anyone out there was doing some "Real" robotics
in high schools. What I mean by real is not these play toys
I've seen running around. Robot kits or scratch built
robotics is what I'm refering to. Credit is due to the kits
we have here, they're nice, but really they don't teach
much. They're a toy.
If you are doing robotics in school, what are you doing and
what course are you doing it in? Grade level? Kits?
etc...

Interested in hearing from you.
