Today we find many students with exceptional needs in the regular classroom. Given the number of behaviour disorders and learning disabilities children are faced with, is the government funding provided sufficient? Do we have teachers professionally unprepared to meet the needs of all these students? Inclusion for most students in the best placement for special needs students. However we do need to look at the supports in place to make the inclusive model workable for all students. I look forward to hearing from individuals regarding the type of supports (resource and personnel) which would help to maintain and strengthen an inclusive model for education. Thanks for your time.
