Ummm I believe Paul Keating actually discussed his plans, should labour
lose power, on one of 9's media sideshows. As for the great debat 2, I
thought that was just a forum for hauling out each party's electoral
rhetoric. You may as well have just watchd the TV advertising if that is
where you source your in-depth political knowledge from. As for "intense
media speculation" if this, coupled with refusals to deny such suggestions
within a week of the election, isnt enough to give their relative
electorates cause to think, it's their own fault for voting for
them...lets sue the electors of Blaxland for the cost of a bi-election!
better yet, a voting tax...anyone stupid enough to vote has to pay a
percentage of the costs of the election up front as a "deposit" to ensure
that the person they voted for doesnt drop out or die or something.
