I am sorry...I miss your point about the local opposition. Then again it
has been my view for years that local government in the ACT has been an
exercise three-ring circus mis-management on all sides. Perhaps you
interpret my endorsement of beazley as a possibkly good opposition leader
as some blanket endorsement of labour in general. I guess i was just
dazzled by the concept of our ellected representatives co-operating
occasionally after a dozen years of watching the libs at work. As a
general rule I think politicians on all sides should think more about
running the country and less about scoring points.
As for ACT local govt perhapos we should actually give them something to
*do* so they dont mess around with stuff.

I for one would like to see Carnell spend less time travelling abroad and
more time trying to work out how to buy a weeks groceries with $9.75 in
loose change.

We can live and hope.
