My wife and I will be moving from our apartment in Clifton Park to a house in
Niskayuna in February. We have a reasonable amount of furniture which we
would like a professional (or at least semi-professional) to move but will
carry all other goods over ourselves.

Does anyone have any recommendations, warnings, or experiences with local
movers? I am still a little stunned by all the closing costs and would
prefer not to spend a lot. We don't know yet whether we will go with
"Two-Guys-With-A-Truck" or a brand name outfit.

Any and all opinions are welcome,

thanks a lot,

         Peter Lorraine
