The Mohawk Hudson Region of the Sports Car Club of America is pleased
to offer the first of a series of New Driver Car Control Clinics in
Albany NY. We have a number of openings available in our clinic on Sunday,
June 8th, at the OGS Peripheral parking lot (adjacent to the junction of
I-90 and NY 85 in Albany.) The Sunday class is scheduled to start at 11am.


These clinics are geared towards recently licensed young drivers and
a parent or guardian. The clinics last about 6 hours and provide 1 hour
of classroom instruction and 5 hours of driving exercises designed to
teach new drivers about accident avoidence, braking, proper steering
techniques, etc.

The cost for one day's instruction is $65 for a new driver accompanied by
a parent; in addition to the class itself, participants receive a 45 minute
instructional video and a copy of _New Driver Car Control: From Kamikaze
to Competent_.
Students must show a driver's license and proof of insurance to participate.
