I don't know of any local ISPs who have a deal that attractive. However, you don't really need to look locally for a web hosting service, as long as you've already got a local ISP. Usually, you'll FTP the web pages from your machine onto the web server -- you don't need to dial into the web server. For instance, I use AlbanyNet as my ISP, but ICorp (www.icorp.net) down in New Orleans is hosting my web site. They charge only $50/year for a non-commercial site with 5MB of disk space, plus $5/month for a virtual domain, plus $1/year for each additional MB. So for a 75MB virtual domain, you'd pay $180/year (provided that it's not a commercial site). Of course, that doesn't include the InterNIC fee for registering your domain. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Schwartz (xor@poboxes.com) -- 5 Broadway #407, Troy, NY 12180 Come visit the Joyrides web site, a photo gallery celebrating the joy and beauty of amusement rides! www.joyrides.com
