This is to warn you about this company:

I recently received in a the mail a "welcome to the community" advertisement 
from the Adirondack Tire Company of Schenectady. Enclosed was a coupon for
a FREE oil change. Great, I thought. 

So I made an appointment and showed up. They told me they were backed up and
it would be another hour and a half. I had things to do, so I didn't go back.

I gave the coupon to a friend of mine. She went last week. She waited for
an hour and a half before her car was done. (Changing oil takes about 20
minutes) She then got in her car, tried to move it, and the transmission
would not work -- the car would not shift into drive and the lever would
not move at all! 

She went back in and they looked at the car and told her that they had
accidentally drained the transmission fluid. 

So they kept her car for another hour and a half putting right what thay had
done wrong. Who knows if they really ever changed the oil properly or even
changed the oil filter?

Stay clear of this company! They blamed this incident on a kid thay had working
for them, but that is no excuse when dealing with your car and life!
