Come Strum With Us: DAA Open House Nov. 15
 
The Dulcimer Association of Albany will hold an open house at the 
McKownville Methodist Church in Albany, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. 
The event is free and all are welcome.
 
DAA is a group of friends who gather to share songs on the Appalachian or
mountain dulcimer and learn from one another. Our songs range from simple
to sophisticated, and our members range in age upward from the early teens.
 
At the open house, we'll have a variety of dulcimers for visitors to look
at and to play -- it's one of the easiest instruments to get started on --
as well as music that we'll play for you and snacks and friendship all 'round.
 
The Mckownville Methodist Church is at 1565 Western Ave., between the 
Western Avenue intersection with the Northway and the entrance to 
Crossgates Mall. Parking is available behind the building.
