Reminder: Tonight's meeting of *IX will feature an "Intro to HTML" as
the topic. This is *not* _Tricks of the HTML Wizards_, but just a very
light demo of having a simple page with some links and sections.

For Linux users: the demo machine will be a Linux laptop, running X, a
web server, and the netscape(!) browser, all on the same machine, all on
12MB of memory and Linux.

The July meeting will be a "social" meeting, with no speaker, but some
presentations of topics by members. The August meeting will be the
annual picnic as usual.

In the fall we will have a presentation on "killer personal
applications," featuring freeware, shareware, and commercial packages
affordable by individuals for their own use. We will have Solaris, SCO
UNIX, and Linux machines for demos. Please contact me if you would like
to talk about your favorite app.

There will be a discussion of Linux distributions, the new Slackware
2.3.0, and where to get Slackware or Red Hat for $10 on CD.
