The Capital District Computer Enthusiasts of New York would be meeting
at the Community Room in the Bethlehem Public Library on June 28th 2006
at 7.00 pm

The meetings are free and open to the public.

The June meeting will feature a demonstration of how to install the
operating system on your computer.

This will be a free opportunity to learn more about computers. Do not
miss it.

No prior registration is required.

Anyone can just walk into the community room in the Bethlehem Public
Library on June 28th at 7.00 pm

What is "the" operating system? Is this group a PC group or a Windows
group? Off the top of my head I think of seven flavors of Windows, five
of BSD UNIX, three of Linux, and two of Solaris, all of which are still
in current use.

What are we going to install here?

Take I90 in Albany to exit 4 (Rt 85 West)

Follow Rt 85 until it ends at a tee intersection

Turn right, go to the 1st light

Turn left at the light onto Rt 140 (Cherry Ave ext)

Continue to the 2nd traffic light and turn left on Rt 443 (Delaware Ave)

The library is on the left 1/2 mi, turn left into the street AFTER the
library, and then left again into the library parking lot.

Follow the walkway into the building, turn 160 degrees right, community
room is through the door.

[UNYUUG meets there 3rd Wednesday]

NOTE: going back, ignore the Rt 85 to the left sign on Rt 140, unless
you are going to Thacher's Park or Altamont. Go back the way you came,
it's not a shortcut.
