New CHUUG Secretary
===================

I will resign from my job as secretary of the CHUUG after the next
General Assembly (there's a thesis and and a baby who both want full
attention :-)

The CHUUG is therefore looking for a new secretary.

Job description:

   The secretary ..

     - is member of the CHUUG exec,

     - is responsible for all documentation (leaflets, minutes etc.),

     - maintains the member list,

     - is the primary contact for new members,

     - exchanges the necessary information with EurOpen,

     - does the bookkeeping of the secretariat.

Most paperwork (e.g. info for new members, mailings) is now done by
the secretariat of EUnet Switzerland, so the job doesn't take too much
time (some 1 to 2 hours per week plus exec meetings).

All infrastructure is now situated in the rooms of EUnet Switzerland
at Zweierstrasse 35 in Zuerich. So it would be easier for someone from
Zuerich to do the job, but it is very well possible to do it from
anywhere else (we're a networking association ..).

CHUUG pays all travel expenses for exec meeting plus some amount per
hour - but I wouldn't do the job just for the money :-)

If you're interested, please contact me (eschle@chuug.ch).
