Ich habe ein Problem mit dem pppd. Bis vor 2 Wochen lief alles
reibungslos. Doch ploetzlich habe ich nur noch jedes 3. Mal eine
Verbindung. Meistens kommt sowas zustande:

Feb 8 07:58:51 gold pppd[28103]: pppd 2.3.3 started by chgloor, uid 500
Feb 8 07:58:52 gold chat[28104]: abort on (BUSY)
Feb 8 07:58:52 gold chat[28104]: abort on (NO CARRIER)
Feb 8 07:58:52 gold chat[28104]: send (ATD0555550099^M)
Feb 8 07:58:53 gold chat[28104]: expect (CONNECT)
Feb 8 07:59:00 gold chat[28104]: ATD0555550099^M^M
Feb 8 07:59:00 gold pppd[28103]: Serial connection established.
Feb 8 07:59:00 gold chat[28104]: CONNECT
Feb 8 07:59:00 gold chat[28104]: -- got it
Feb 8 07:59:01 gold pppd[28103]: Using interface ppp0
Feb 8 07:59:01 gold pppd[28103]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/cua1
Feb 8 07:59:31 gold pppd[28103]: LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Feb 8 07:59:31 gold pppd[28103]: Connection terminated.
Feb 8 07:59:32 gold pppd[28103]: Hangup (SIGHUP)
Feb 8 07:59:32 gold pppd[28103]: Exit.

Nun, wie koennte ich gegebenenfalls etwas umkonfigurueren? Obwohl, das
LCP-Timeout erhoehen macht keinen Sinn, da 30s schon lange ist.
System: RH5.1, 2.0.36, Provider: Active

Wenn jemand schon mal sowas gesehen hat, waere ich um ein paar Tips
dankbar.
