The only thing which resembles this beast is the
   NCR53c406a
driver.  Did you try to look in the hardwaresupportdatenbank
of SuSE, and/or the Support database (all at http://www.suse.de)

Try to load the driver that way:

   insmod ncr53c406a ncr53c406a=0x280,11

First you need to have the SCSI working and something shown
for your scanner with

   cat /proc/scsi/scsi

If you don't see anything, you need to find the appropriate
module / configuration first.

When it's in /proc/scsi/scsi, you can try the SANE YaST auto-detection
again.
