Hi

I have a PC with 2 IDE HDs. On the first I have a (still working) NT
partition (2.1 GB) and on the second I had a DOS 6.2 partition (1.4 GB) (to
experiment with). I made the second HD boot by changing the BIOS settings (I
like the thougt that both systems can run without using the other disk.).

So, yesterday I installed RedHat 5.1 on the former DOS partition (together
with a swap partition, of course) on HD 2. I did not install lilo in the mbr
(on hda) but in the first sector (?, the other possible option) of hdb and
(fortunatly made a boot disk)

When I now tell the BIOS to boot from the second HD, lilo says only 'LI' and
the computer is dead. When I boot from floppy everything is (or seems to be)
fine.

Both HD's run in LBA mode.

What is the problem?
