Disk 0x80 gets disk 0x81 and disk 0x81 gets 0x80.(These are the BIOS names)

You installed lilo in the root partition I guess.
Then your NT disk was 0x80, your Linux disk was 0x81.
Lilo "remembered" that his map file is on disk 0x81.

Lilo canot find the map file that is now on 0x80.

test it:
??? is your root partition (hdb2)?
dd if=/dev/??? of=/bootsect.lin bs=512 count=1
copy bootsect.lin to C:\
add
C:\bootsect.lin="Linux"
to C:\boot.ini
boot your NT disk.(= 0x80, mapfile on 0x81).

There are options to fix the problem. Read the lilo dokumentation.

disk = 0x81
/dev/hdb
disk=0x80
?  ?)

Maybe you have to use two lilo configurations (one if you booted from your NT
disk or floppy, another if you booted from your Linux disk).
