PC ohne Virenschutz - alles okay?

Hallo allerseits, Mein Vater lässt seinen PC von einem professionellen Supporter warten. Soweit so gut - doch was mich grade stutzig gemacht hat: Offenbar verweigerte das installierte Antivirus Programm die Aktualisierung, worauf der Supporter kurzerhand das Antivirus Programm ausser Betrieb nahm. Der PC (Win XP) ist zwar über eine Zywall 2 mit dem Netz verbunden, aber eben - ohne irgend ein Antivirus Programm. Was haltet ihr davon - bin ich da zu ängstlich und ist das okay so? Danke für eure Meinungen! Gruss, Tobias
