This property is in Kitsap county just north of the Eglon
boat launch 10 minutes from Kingston. Kingston is a 1/2 hour ferry
ride across the Puget Sound 20 minutes north of Seattle, Washington.
Years ago it was known as Ohman's Campground. It had cabins,
a grocery, and a service station. The Mosquito Fleet made a stop at
Eglon in those days and people had to wade ashore with their goods
and their animals. It was a piece of history.
Today it is an 1820 square foot rambler on 14.85 acres with
625 feet of waterfront. There are not many waterfronts of this side
anywhere in Wahington. The property is zoned 1/5 so it can be
divided up into 3-5 acre waterfront parcels. The property's
potential is as an estate. With this great eastern exposure and the
level treed terrain, someone could make this a paradise.
It just listed this week and you can view some pics at
http://kendaco.telebyte.com/~jamesbow/ go to "featured listings"
Let me know if we can set up an appt to view this wonderful
piece of history. My number is 1-360-297-0311.
