We would like to reuse a 2 GByte VIDEO-8 Tapedrive on the VAX (under VMS)
to make backups of our 1.4 GByte scsi disk, which is connected to our sun ipc.
There is a ethernet between the sun and the vax, running tcp/ip.

I'm looking for suggestions, that tie up a minimum of ressources.
Is there soemting like a remote tar for VAX-VMS?
