Apparently the Chicago Chapter of the ACM, P.O. Box 2381,
Chicago, IL 60609, has an organization called SIGART Chicago
that is headed up by a John Garton at (312) 327-9250 or 
(312) 727-7056 

I received a flyer to this effect, postmarked June of 1992. It
appears as though the SIGART chapter had been only recently
formed. The intention seems to be toward monthly meetings, but I
never received any further flyers, so I don't know.

The flyer also reveals that Mr. Garton is associated with IIT,
to whit:
