A follow up to my last post regarding researchers in Chicago in the
area of defeasible reasoning.  Since no one responded, I assume
that either (a) no one in Chicago is doing serious AI work in defeasible
reasoning, or (b) those that are doing such work don't read this group.
Defeasibly, of course, neither of the above would be true if such persons
simply are non-associative ;-)

Anyway, what about some related AI fields?  do any local
discussion groups exist in AI at all?  Is anybody out there?
