MCS currently has no nodes that are A-band calls from Hyde Park, but there are five other providers who do, including yours. I'd scarcely call that a slow twist in the wind. WWA in Mt. Greenwood, InterAccess's forwarder in the South Loop, AIS on the Near North Side, and Tezcat and Grapevine on the Near West Side all have indials that are A-band from the Hyde Park switch. (If you're in Kenwood and have phone service from the Oakland switch, you may have to take WWA's Mt. Greenwood node off the list, but WWA just moved its offices downtown and might be opening a node there.)
